Hi all!
I'm currently a first year postgraduate student undertaking a PhD in neuroscience at The University of Nottingham.
Scary career things aside, I'm really a 23 year old girl obsessed with ponies, twitter, the internet, her boyfriend (who is also obsessed with ponies, twitter and the internet), videogames, reading, owl cushions, music, podcasts, cooking and trying to keep her fringe looking normal.
I've only drawn a little before now during my teens (mostly ANIMES, mostly terrible) but I've recently been inspired by MLP to try my hand at drawing again - I got a Wacom Intuos tablet for Christmas so I'm seeing where I go with that!

Howdy y'all,
How are you all doing? I've recently got back from a trip in Birmingham (UK, not USA) where I won a place to attend the British Bioscience Festival as a representative of The University of Nottingham, and it was absolutely AWESOME :D
Not necessarily just because the talks were really good (although they were all excellent) but because I met a bunch of really interesting, creative, funny and smart people that I hung out with the entire week. Most of them were undergrads, which was a little weird for Jordan and I at first (as we're PhD students) but it honestly didn't matter one iota. I also really feel like I got some of my acad

Well, it depends whether it's mine or not. And how long it's been there. And what flavour it is. And whether it has icing. If it's meant for me, is freshly baked and has chocolate icing/frosting, then I'd eat it.

Hi all,
How is everyone doing? I'm typing this out on a lazy Sunday afternoon whilst I dog-sit for my parents - we recently got a new puppy who is both absolutely gorgeous and an absolute handful! She's already tried to eat both my shoes and my laptop.
Boyfriend has just got back from BronyCon, which he said was incredible and really fun - I wish I could have gone too! We've made a pact to go to a con next year, whether it be BronyCon, BronyCan or GalaCon <3 . I would love to watch a live panel of DigiBro and Tommy Oliver and TBBBAP; they're kinda my horse idols ^^;
Speaking of them, Boyfriend and I are going to try and set up a YouTube
